Have you ever wanted a family or baby portrait done, but haven’t wanted to do it in the sterile environment of a photographic studio? If so, then we have the solution. We specialise in professional portraits done in the comfort of your own home.

We can set up a portable studio in minutes, utilising professional studio lighting equipment and backdrops to produce professional studio portraits in your home.

Having the photos taken in your own home makes for a more comfortable, relaxing experience, and works particularly well with families and small children.

A typical session will start with some more informal shots using either studio lights or natural light depending on the location, then the studio backdrop and lights can be set up for some more formal individual and group shots.

Afterwards, weather permitting, some outdoor pictures - perhaps in the garden, or on the balcony, or in the park, at the local market – whatever is available.

The photoshoot lasts for approximately 2 hours which is enough time to get a variety of individual and group shots in different styles.

Afterwards you will receive a disc containing the successful images from the shoot in both colour and black and white, from which you can choose which ones you would like us to print.

While many families decide to wait until their babies are a few months old before having formal portraits taken, we believe that newborn babies make beautiful subjects for delicate black and white portraits using natural light.
